While the dust hasn’t quite settled on the 2015 edition of Tampa Pro, there has definitely been some housekeeping done as the field was cut to 30 skaters moving to today’s Semi-Finals with Shane O’Neill and Ishod Wair holding Golden Tickets with first and second place respectively.

The Moat Race kicks off the action today at Noon EST with the Semi-Finals beginning at 1 pm EST. The top 28 skaters from yesterday’s Qualifiers, joined by any previous Tampa Pro winners, will compete in two, one-minute runs – best counts. The top 10 advance to the Finals to meet Golden Ticket winners (Shane O’Neill & Ishod Wair) from Saturday for their share of the $75,000 purse. The webcast starts at 11 am EST at streetleague.com

The Skatepark of Tampa held their first All Ages Contest of the year last week with the Valentine’s Day Massacre presented by Dickies. Love was in the air and so was the smell of B.O. as everyone sweat out the day trying to get their best run. Check out a photo recap and the story at their website.
Twenty skate shop teams went head to head last weekend for Skatepark of Tampa’s “Clash of the Crews” contest, presented by Vans. It was a tough call, but Island Water Sports came out on top with the SPoT team at a close second.
