Josh Stewart discusses growing up in Florida, picking up his first video camera, being asked by Jamie Thomas to go on a “Welcome to hell” tour, filming “Cigar City”, his first “Static” video, making the Adio video “One Step Beyond”, deciding to make more “Static” videos, starting his distribution company Theories Of Atlantis, will there be a “Static 6” and much more on the latest episode of The Nine Club.
Theories of Atlantis got the crew together and headed down south to dodge the harsh New York winter, and for many of them, to get back in touch with their roots in Florida. This video is the result of 10 days of street skating, several demos, and some deep sea diving featuring riders from all of the Theories brands. Edited by Joe Bressler, and filmed by Joe Bressler, Josh Stewart, Frank Branca, and Joe Pelham.
After doing some searching, the crew at Theories of Atlantis realized that the opening part to the original “Static” video from 1999 was nowhere to be found online. To correct this, they have uploaded Forrest Kirby’s full part, filmed and edited by Josh Stewart, in high resolution for your nostalgic viewing pleasure.
