Tampa Pro Finals just wrapped up at the Skatepark of Tampa where it was truly a proud day for Brazil skateboarding, its nation of skaters, and its gifted professionals. As per several predictions, Luan Oliveira nailed a flawless and technical line of mastery in his third run that kept going well past the buzzer to take home the victory.
What’s more, fellow Brazilian shredders Kelvin Hoeffler and Felipe Gustavo definitively earned their places onto Street League’s 2014 World Tour with their sick runs in the finals as well. The 21st Annual Tampa Pro has begun and the live webcast exclusively through StreetLeague.com has kicked off with the Semi-Finals. The top 28 from yesterday’s Qualifiers along with any past winners of Tamp Pro will skate today where the top 10 will meet up with Golden Ticket winners Shane O’Neill and Ishod Wair in this afternoon’s Finals. And of course, don’t forget the live coverage of the customary Moat Race!

While the dust hasn’t quite settled on the 2015 edition of Tampa Pro, there has definitely been some housekeeping done as the field was cut to 30 skaters moving to today’s Semi-Finals with Shane O’Neill and Ishod Wair holding Golden Tickets with first and second place respectively.

The Moat Race kicks off the action today at Noon EST with the Semi-Finals beginning at 1 pm EST. The top 28 skaters from yesterday’s Qualifiers, joined by any previous Tampa Pro winners, will compete in two, one-minute runs – best counts. The top 10 advance to the Finals to meet Golden Ticket winners (Shane O’Neill & Ishod Wair) from Saturday for their share of the $75,000 purse. The webcast starts at 11 am EST at streetleague.com
Saturday was a busy day for Sewa Kroetkov. Physically, he was in Florida trying to qualify for today’s semi-finals at Tampa Pro. But digitally, he was facing off against Torey Pudwill at the Battle at the Berrics 8.
After a rough go with his first run in Tampa, Sewa tore through his second run and ended up making the cut in 25th place. Check out these clips to see how his day went at The Berrics. Look for a matchup between Felipe Gustavo vs. Will Fyock today at BATB8.
