Rest in Peace Jay Adams

Jay Adams RIPThe skateboarding world was rocked early this morning by the news that original Z Boy, Jay Adams had died of a massive heart attack while vacationing with friends and surfing in Mexico. Jay embodied the raw and aggressive mold that modern skateboarding was founded upon. He inspired generations of skaters to get vertical and strive for their own radical and personal progression. Without him, TA and a few others’ involvement decades ago, skateboarding would have a very different imprint on the youth of today.

Dogtowner and renowned skateboarding legend Stacy Peralta shares the details of this matter more in depth on Thrasher Magazine’s site for better perspective.

Rest in Peace Jay Boy. You will forever live on in our hearts.
